Kerri Satherley

Kerri joined the Tātai Angitu Literacy@Massey Team in 2023. She has a passion for literacy and believes in supporting teachers to create quality literacy learning opportunities for all their learners! She is working towards her Masters of Education (Literacy Education).

As a teacher, Kerri has over 12 years’ classroom experience in primary education. She has taught in classes across all year levels, including several years working in learning support. This teaching experience has given her an understanding of the needs within a busy and complex New Zealand classroom. She has strong classroom practice and a theoretical knowledge to support her pedagogical choices. Kerri has held several leadership roles within the school community including Community of Learners In-School Leader, School Literacy Leader and as a member of the Senior Leadership Team. This experience has given Kerri experience in both coaching and mentoring.
