Tamara Dahm
I was a primary school teacher for eight years before moving into the role of Literacy Facilitator. Alongside this, I am currently completing my PhD in Education, where I am exploring how collaboration between teachers and speech-language therapists can support children with language-related literacy needs. Having completed my Master of Education in Literacy, I am committed to ensuring that research about how we learn to read is applied effectively in classrooms so that all learners can experience equitable outcomes. I am passionate about supporting teachers to strengthen their knowledge and confidence, empowering them to help every child succeed as a reader and writer. I currently work on a range of contracts delivering SME support and content development. I also support schools to build capability in delivering a structured approach to literacy. This includes working closely with leadership and staff to design and implement literacy frameworks that best fit their school context.
